Priceline.com & American Express: I have a dual complaint.
 

I bought an American Express TravelFunds Card to purchase a flight from my girlfriend. I used Priceline.com to book her flight (had no problems with the travel arrangements) but I was double charged by Priceline.com.

I contacted American Express and frankly, since I am using a "Gift Card" so to speak, they couldn't care less about me being double charged.

I contacted Priceline and was told I should have been charged by the airline for my fare and then charged a $6.95 or so as a processing fee.

Neither American Express or Priceline once told me "Hey I am sorry but..." -- All I heard was "Just wait a few days and the charge will disappear." Quite frankly that is unacceptable policy from both companies.

I will never use the "TravelCard"

Thank God I was not stuck somewhere and needed my money or Priceline.com ever again.
