I bid on a hotel room in Asheville, NC through
Priceline. I marked the areas where I was willing to stay.
The hotel that
accepted my bid was located outside the areas chosen.
Priceline was unwilling to admit a problem and continued to
say the hotel was located within the zone, although they couldn't tell me exactly
where.
It was very obvious from comparing the hotel's web to the Priceline web page
that the it is located outside any of the area.
I found it unbelievable that they would not admit any kind of
computer problem --- and it is apparent to me that the choice of location has no bearing
on the request --- the only correct location is wherever the Priceline computer says it
is!
