I called to cancel my AOL service and got a rude customer service representative that would not listen to me.

And he interrupted me when I would try to talk. He tried to intimidate and anger me so I would hang up and not cancel. After about 7 attempts to close my account I had to get firm with him.

I was able to get confirmation numbers, but I am yet to see if I have the accounts actually closed.

The company was also supposed to close one of my accounts last November and never did. They continued to charge me for it.

I encourage everyone with a problem concerning AOL to report it to the Better Business Bureau. You can do it online. I am also sending a certified letter of my complaint to AOL.

By going to the BBB site, I was finally able to get an actual physical address for them.

Please do your part; the way they are treating customers should be considered illegal.
