Nearly a month before Christmas I ordered a Bowflex Sport machine with guaranteed Christmas delivery.

The week of Christmas, I hadn't received it, so I tried to call Bowflex.  After being on hold for 20 minutes, 3 times that day, I left a call-back number, however I didn't hear from them.

On the Wednesday before Christmas, instead of pressing the response for already placing the order and checking on my order status, I pressed the "New order" response, and got through.

I was told I wasn't getting my husband's Christmas present for Christmas, nor did they know when it would be delivered.

To this date, 2-1/2 weeks after Christmas, I have received 2-50 # power rods, and a FREE mat for my time.  They were impossible to talk to, as I couldn't get through, as they were too busy to take my call at that time, and to please try back.  I did e-mail Bowflex my story, including date of order, to whom I spoke with, etc., and one of their representatives responded that night.  I  still e-mail her, to keep up on when things will be arriving.

However, the way a major company advertises, but isn't able to fulfill the need, and the way they are so happy to take your order but don't deliver, I find very upsetting.  I feel they need to be honest with the buyer and better handle the phone calls.

I have to wonder how many wanted a Bowflex but haven't received it yet...  Also, if they also had trouble checking on the status of their order.
