Another Sears re-facing story
Visitor Comment:
I had my kitchen cabinets
refaced by Sears.
What
a mistake that was.
After a while
I realized I spent way too much
and the installer had to be watched every moment from start
to finish.
The first day I told him to leave until be came back with
plastic to cover my new countertops, floor, overhead
lighting, etc. He was doing all
the cutting inside the kitchen because it was sprinkling
outside.
Then, after 4 days from 9am to 7pm,
I started looking around at the materials that were not
being used. I questioned him and got no answer. I called the
project manager and he said that was just some overstock and
I am not being charged for it,
Funny
it had my name all over the shipping slips attached to the
shipping boxes from the warehouse.
Well, just to let all of you
know, I have enough materials to
do another kitchen including molding, kick board laminate
facing, and MSDF board minus the cabinet doors.
Oh, I told the project
manager, "Don't think for one
minute that this is leaving my house." I am calling BBB and
take pictures of all the material that was ordered in my
name that I was not supposed to be charged for.
Maybe they were worried that
my project would come up short and they were doing me a
favor by giving me extra free of charge.
Yea, right! What do you think
happened here?
