Rude driving conditions are more dangerous in the long run than wet driving conditions.

Whilst taking my son to school this morning an oncoming driver of a black Mitsubishi Warrior, cut across me as I was turning left at a signal operated crossroads.

I had the right of way and the 'Warrior's' actions caused me to break sharply causing my 8-year-old son and me to be thrown against our seats.

I pressed my horn in protest to which the brave 'warrior' slowed his vehicle alongside me, put down his window and gave me the finger.

Road rage and bullying?

The whole episode upset my son who burst into tears. How do we teach our children not to be bullies, have road sense and courtesy to others when they're subjected to regular displays like this?

I have the driver's registration number and I'm very tempted to print it, but would that make me as bad as him?

I am very frustrated with our cultural decay.

How might you handle this situation?
