Amex should to explain & provide documentation.

I obtained an Amex Corporate card through a former position.

I used this card for meals and travel. I leased an automobile with the note to be deducted from my card each month. Things were going smoothly.

Then I resigned from the company but Amex said it was OK to retain this card.

Next thing I knew, I received an Amex bill for $11,000. Of course the disputes started. I asked Amex to send me copies of the original receipts from this car rental company so I could see where these charges were coming.

I have spoken with Manager after manager. They keep giving me the shuffle.

Amex keeps demanding I send them $11,000 without seeing any receipts, other than the little Amex ones they bill you. I keep telling them no receipt, no pay.

Of course they have since slammed this $11,000 bill on my credit report without attempting to settle this dispute.

If there is an attorney out there reading this, please notify me by mail. I will return the call and we can discuss. If I pay anyone $11,000, it will be the attorney who gets this matter cleared.

I suppose most credit card companies figure they're dealing with people who cannot read at all or read very little English. NOT!!!
