I have a long distance phone call charge on my SBC bill of about $650 for a one hour call.
 

The call apparently took place while my computer was connected to the internet.  I do not know how this happened, but I am sure it must have been a pop-up of some sort that I must have accidentally clicked.

SBC seems to think there is nothing that they can, will or should do about the charge.  I feel that it should be illegal for a site to dial from your phone line without your permission.  When I have talked to representatives from SBC, they seem aware of the problem because it has apparently happened to other customers.

Yet they say that there is nothing that can be done to keep this from happening again!
