I currently use AT&T long distance
service and have the 10 cent a minute plan which includes a $4.95 a month surcharge.
I wasn't told however that I must use a code when dialing in my area code,
therefore I didn't get the 10 cent a minute rate.
AT&T's excuse was that
"they put the information on television telling everyone to use the
code".
I am not a television person and didn't know. I called and
complained and they told me they would waive the $4.95 monthly charge for a certain amount
of months if I would stay with them.
I agreed and when the next bill came they
charged me $12.00 for 120 minutes and anywhere from .25 for all other calls
When I called again they had no documentation of my call or what our agreement is.
I
have called and they can't seem to help out now.
What do you think ...?
