My 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 has a strange front end noise.
 

It is a weird grinding noise coming from the front end driver's side when turning the wheel both ways.

I don't have a clue on what it could be.

Please help -- l don't want to be taken at the auto shop.

It could be the front ball joints. Mine did the same and it cost me $750 for the ball joints and front brakes.
